Core Conversion February 11-13, 2022

The Turbotville National Bank continues to search for ways to provide quality service and new products to our consumers. As part of this commitment, we are upgrading our Core Banking system to a new software platform the weekend of February 11-13, 2022.  The new system will be more efficient with additional functionality. As part of the conversion, banking services will be limited or unavailable during this time.

Services Availability Guide

BranchBranch hours will not be impacted.  Our team will be available to assist you on Saturday February 11th from 9 am to 1 pm via telephone.  Please call 570-649-5118.The Bank will be open during normal business hours on Monday February 14th.
ATMStandard ATM and Debit Cards limits will be available during the conversion.  Please Note: Our ATM will not be accepting deposits during the conversion.  Please use our night deposit slot to the right of our ATM during this period. For surcharge free ATM locations, please visit https://www.moneypass.com.  We will be on-line real time starting Monday February 14th.  All cards and PINs will stay the same.   Cardholders will receive a new TNB EMV-chip enabled Mastercard via mail in March.  You will activate your card from a phone number on file at the bank.  
Deposit Account StatementsDeposit account holders will receive two statements in February. A statement will be generated on the regularly scheduled date. An additional statement will be generated for all cycle activity up to February 11, 2022.

Interest bearing accounts will earn interest for the entire month.
Deposit statements will return to normal schedules starting in March 2022.
Online/Mobile BankingOnline and Mobile Banking WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE Friday February 11th at 5:00 PM.  Service should be available by Monday February 14th at 9:00 AM  We will be online again beginning February 14th. Your Online and Mobile Banking Login and Password will remain the same. You will be prompted to update your password at your initial login. If you use Bill Pay, all your Payee information will be saved and available after conversion.
Telephone BankingTelephone Banking WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE Friday February 11th at 5:00 PM until Monday February 14th at 9:00 AM  The first time that you call Telephone Banking after Monday, February 14th. All PINs will be reset to the last four digits of your Social Security Number during the conversion process. Listen carefully as the menu options will have changed as well.
Night Deposit  The night depository will be available through conversion weekend, February 11-14thTransactions will be posted when the Bank re-opens on February 14th, as we do for all weekend deposits.

Core Conversion FAQs

  • Will my account number(s) stay the same?

Yes. You will have the same bank account number(s) you have currently for checking, savings, money market, CDs, IRAs, and loans.

  • May I continue to use my current Turbotville National Bank checks?

Yes. You may continue to use your Turbotville National Bank checks. Please contact us when you are ready for a re-order and we’ll be glad to assist you.

  • May I continue to use my existing debit card?

Yes. You may continue to use your current debit card throughout conversion.  During the conversion weekend, our ATM will be unavailable.  Please visit https://www.moneypass.com to locate a surcharge free ATM near you.  You will not need a new debit card and your PIN will remain the same.

In March, the Bank’s debit card program will transition to Mastercard.  You will receive a new TNB EMV-chip enabled debit card via mail.  You will activate your card from a phone number on file at the bank.

  • Will there be a period of time I do not have access to my funds due to the systems conversion on February 11, 2022?

Funds availability will be limited during the conversion period.  Our ATM and Online Banking services will be unavailable.  You may continue to write checks as normal.  Please carry an alternative form of payment during this period.

  • Will this impact when I am to receive my deposit account statement(s)?

Account holders will receive an additional accounts statement in February.  Account holders will receive a statement account activity through February 11, 2022.  Thereafter, statements will then return to the regular schedule.

  • Will my current direct deposits and automatic drafts be affected?

Since your account number is not changing, all current direct deposits or automatic drafts will continue to be processed normally after the conversion.  During the conversion period, there may be a delay in direct deposits posting to your account until the conversion has completed.

  •  How does the systems conversion affect online banking and bill payment?

Your online banking access will be suspended at 5:00 pm EDT on Friday, February 11th. The online banking system will remain the same system that was used prior to the conversion. Account and transaction history will remain in the system, and your log-in information will remain the same.

Bill payment services will be suspended at 5:00 pm EDT on Friday, February 11th. All payments previously scheduled for February 11th or the week of February 14th will process normally. Payee and payment history will remain in the system, and you will continue to maintain single sign-on access to bill payment. Access to online banking and bill payment services will be restored by 9:00 am EDT on Monday, February 14th.
